Wikimedia Community Fund

The Wikimedia Community Fund consists of:

• General Support Fund
  • Wikimedia Affiliate
• Rapid Fund
• Conference and Event Fund

General Support Fund

The General Support Fund is a yearly grant to affiliates, replacing the old SAPG grant. In general terms those grants are quite equal, but:

• The application if run via Fluxx
• It is more structured
• Automatic translation
• No more Wiki forms to be filled in...
• Initial requests are one month earlier: more time for evaluation, and conclusions before the "new year" period
• Regional grant evaluation team
