General Support Fund
The General Support Fund (GSF) is part of the Wikimedia Community Fund.
The cycle depends on the continent. For Europe the grants should be requested in Q4. The cycle usually starts in September. The agreement is signed by the end of the year. Payment is done in January.
The process is managed via the Fluxx system.
Process
[edit]Affiliates need to input all details about their organisation, their projects, their plans, their board/staffing/members/volunteers, their strategy, partnerships, collaborations, and budget details.
The Program Officer evaluates the request, and decides about its implementation.
The Grants Administrator transfers the budget.
The Affiliations Committee evaluates the activity and financial report.
