Wiki Loves Public Space
Wiki Loves Public Space is a photo project in what photographers and volunteers from Wikipedia go outside to take photos of buildings, artworks, monuments, memorials and other subjects visible from the public space.
Since 15 July 2016 we have freedom of panorama in Belgium and 2017 would be the first full summer in what we can organise a photo contest in the public space, that includes modern buildings and public artworks.
In 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2016 we organised in Belgium the photo contest Wiki Loves Monuments, in what participants took photos of heritage monuments. In 2016 we also organised the photo contest Wiki Loves Art, in what participants took photos of artworks in some museums and heritage libraries.
In 2016 we organised the photo contest in the Summer months July and August. The project page is at: Wiki Loves Public Space/2017.
