Hi all,
as WMBE is about to take off, we're forming "start-up teams" to handle specific tasks. [1]
I am on the Infrastructure Group, together with Robin, Lionel and Romaine. If you want to join us, please don't hesitate!
Our two most important tasks for the time being are: 1. Find an address to register the association (checking legal feasibility with WMDE, who currently pay for a co-working desk for me in Brussels). 2. Gain control of the wikimedia.be domain and set up @wikimedia.be email accounts
After these are solved we will tackle the following goals: 3.Compile a list of necessary ad materials and merchandise, design them, find financing and order them (business cards, banners, give-aways) 4.Find a venue for General Assemblies 5. Compile a list of possible venues and establish relationship with their owners for different event types and projects (so we can help volunteers when they wish to organise something - venue scouting is usually one of the more time consuming tasks)
