Foundation fundraising

Fundraising for Wikimedia can be done at multiple levels:

• Foundation
• (Regional)
• Affiliates (Chapters, User groups)

Currently the fundraising runs on Wikipedia, via yearly campaigns. Every geography has its specific period (usually one month). For Belgium the campaign runs in the month of May. Wikimedia Belgium is contacted every year to review and amend the translations. A dedicated layout is created for each platform (desktop, smartphone).

Goal

To support the mission "Free knowledge to all".
