Phabricator is used by the Wikimedia community for project management, software requirements gathering, evaluating, planning, and bug, security and operational problem reporting.
It can also be used to manage affiliate projects.
It is available to all volunteers, chapters, user groups, software developers, and operational support in the Wikimedia movement.
Create a ticket[edit]
- Perform an extensive search to prevent creating duplicates
- Give a good title (searchable!)
- Provide a decent description
- Including URLs to reproduce the problem (as simple as possible)
- Add subscribers
Limitations[edit]
- Phabricator is not used in all circumstances
- Some tools do use other tools like Volunteer Response Team (VRT), BitBucket, or GitHub for problem reporting and tracking.
