Wikipedia pages may be translated, because they all have a CC BY-SA license. But you require to mention the sourcing message.

Luckily there exist a nice built-in translation tool, that automates part of the work.

How to start

  1. Search your article in the source language
    • Verify if it is noteable, and translateable
    • Click on Languages -> Add languages -> Translate this page, and choose your target language
    • If this option is not available, to your own language Wikipedia, and choose your source language article
  2. Translate all sections
  3. Save your new pages
  4. Make corrections (visual editor, wiki code editor)

Advantages

Disadvantages

  • Poor translation quality
  • You still need to do copywriting
  • Can fail, unable to save the results

    • Copy the URL
    • Copy the ISBN

    • You might try to copy the references as such
